Backyard Composting at the Cottage

Backyard composting is a great way to reduce the amount of garbage that you have to deal with at the cottage, and building a backyard composter is a great weekend activity. After your fruit, veggie scraps, coffee grounds, tea bags and eggshells decompose they develop into compost, a beneficial nutrient-rich product that you can spread on your garden or in the woods.
