A Friend of the Lake is entitled to the following:
One full membership is permitted per cottage. If you have 2 or more families sharing a cottage consider purchasing one annual membership, and a "Friend of the Lake" for any additional families (to receive the Loon Call, Communiques, and Membership Directory Listing).
Refer a "new" Member or Friend of the Lake and receive a discount on next year's membership dues ($10 discount if you refer a "new" member and $5 discount if you refer a Friend of the Lake).
Fees from Annual Memberships and Friends of the Lake cover our annual expenses but not much is left over. The LWCA Environmental Fund was created so that we would have the ability to purchase items such as water testing equipment that are needed to protect the environment of Lake Weslemkoon and surrounding lakes. Most of the fund is held in reserve for use in case of environmental emergency.
Please complete the contact form if you are a new member, or if your contact information has changed.

Love the lake but don't own a cottage? Or, do you share a cottage with another family? Become a Friend of the Lake instead; you will support our programs and enjoy many of the same benefits as a member, including receiving a copy of the Loon Call. Note: A Friend of the Lake is not a member and therefore does not have a vote at the AGM.
Your support and contributions will enable us to fund large environmental projects which have been approved by the membership.
