Annual Labour Day Weekend Treasure Hunt

Our Last Hunt (since COVID...)

In 2019 the treasure hunt was organized and run by the Myles and Lowes families. They chose a pirate theme which was LOTS of fun! There were tasks at most stations as well as the traditionally hidden clue bag. Teams were asked to dress up – and some did just that, earning spirit awards.

Highlights From Past Years

The 2017 treasure hunt was organized by the O’Rourke family. The theme was Canada 150! Michael and Gloria took the lead, putting together 14 stations that had a combination of visual and live clues. Some of them were pretty tricky … such as searching through a pile of photos and determining which of the Prime Ministers was missing. Others were more active, such as the curling station (where participants had to roll a rock onto the button …harder than you might think!), pin the tail on the beaver, and singing O Canada in both official languages. Fun!The winning team was the DeFreitas family. This was their second time winning – the first time their theme was “amazing race – survivor”.
